Our Vision: The Connecticut Health and Educational Facilities Authority strives to be a national leader in public finance, continually evolving to anticipate the demands of a changing marketplace and to be a positive economic force, strengthening the network of health, educational and charitable organizations that serve Connecticut's citizens.

Our Mission: It is the mission of the Connecticut Health and Educational Facilities Authority to enhance the welfare and prosperity and improve the health and living conditions of the citizens of the State of Connecticut by providing access to tax-exempt financing and other financial assistance to institutions of higher education, healthcare institutions, childcare providers and nonprofit organizations qualified under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Services

  • Equipment financing on purchases of $250,000 and up.
  • Childcare facilities loan.
  • $5,000 to $75,000 grants for nonprofits.

Criteria

  • Must be a nonprofit.
  • Other guidelines apply, depending on what program you apply to.
